Melissa Green

Secretary

Pronouns: Her/Hers/She

Melissa Green is a Wonder Woman in the non-profit world and loves to teach others her ways of being awesome. Since she is so busy being Wonder Woman, with the free time she has, she enjoys theatre (acting and directing), going to live performances, stand up improv and best of all she has a secret Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast. While she is pretty amazing, she is married, has a dog and is a HUGE LGBTQ ally. Growing up in central Texas in the 1980s, She didn't see a lot of the LGBTQ Community or real allies who supported them publicly. However, as she grew into adulthood and a career in the theatre, She realized that there was a fear and unsurity for many of those in the community to be vocal of who they were and even more complacency for those to say they were allies.

Things have changed and she is proud to support my brothers and sisters of the LGBTQ in Waco and serve as a member of the Waco Pride Network Board. She is glad to stand beside you and fight for your basic human rights and love you unconditionally. She is glad of the strides Waco has been making and celebrates Pride with you.
